covid-19 guidlines

If you are planning to attend our in-person services, please read and familiarize yourself with the following guidelines.

For everyone's safety, those who do not adhere to the guidelines will be asked to leave.

Dispensation

If you are a member of the Eparchy of Passaic, remember that you are dispensed by the Bishop from your obligation to attend Divine Liturgy indefinitely. If you are at all sick you should not attend Liturgy. If you are concerned about getting sick, you should not attend. If you have an underlying health condition you should not attend. We will continue to live-stream all services via our Facebook page.

Face masks

Everyone who attends Divine Liturgy MUST wear a mask while on church grounds. You should bring your own mask, however, if you do not have one, one will be provided.

Social Distancing

Divine Liturgy is currently being celebrated outdoors. Please only park in the marked parking stalls. You may stand or set up a lawn/folding chair in the immediate vicinity of your parked vehicle. There is also grassy space where you can stand/sit, as long as you maintain proper distancing of at least 6 feet.

Holy Communion

Holy Communion will be distributed at the end of the Divine Liturgy. Please follow the direction of our ushers, and remember to maintain proper social distancing and keep your face mask on while waiting on line. All who receive must use the provided hand sanitizer prior to receiving communion. Communion will be distributed in individual paper medicine cups, which will be burned after Liturgy.

Contributions

A collection will not be taken during or after the Liturgy. Instead, there will be a basket where you can place your contribution next to the hand sanitizer station. Remember, you may also make your contribution securely online, under the Contribution tab.

Hymnals / Handouts

To help prevent the spread of germs, hymnals, bulletins and other handouts will not be distributed.

Bathrooms

The church building, including the bathrooms, will be closed. Please plan accordingly.

Coffee Social

All non-liturgical events remain canceled until further notice. Once Liturgy is over, we ask that you do not socialize.
